Basement Cultural Foundation is a non-profit, independent platform established in 2009 to empower Yemeni artists and enrich the cultural community. We offer safe spaces for artistic expression, skill development, and economic growth, while using creative mediums to promote peace, diversity, and human rights. From nurturing emerging talent to engaging youth through literature and art, Basement actively contributes to building a vibrant, inclusive, and sustainable society.

It gathers and presents all activities, festivals, exhibitions, concerts, workshops, and community events across Yemen in one accessible platform. This calendar is part of the Taiz Creative Hub project, funded by the European Union and implemented by the Goethe-Institut and Basement Cultural Foundation.
