Video art -(leave) and (letters to Fayrouz).

On January 12, 2019, the Basement Cultural Foundation hosted a special Yemeni experience in the field of visual art, presented by the artist Ibi Ibrahim, who talked about the art of video art, and presented two artworks of directing him in this field are (leave) and (letters to Fayrouz).
Ibi talked about the art of video art relatively modern, which may not know many of the Yemeni youth, and may not find a clear definition when researching, and there are not many Arab works in this area, so he felt that this event is to introduce this art, and talk about his experience Personal it.
Abi Ibrahim is a visual artist, plastic artist and filmmaker, who began in 2009 with photography, then turned to filmmaking, painting and installation work. His work has been widely exhibited in Europe, America and the Middle East, and has received art residences in several countries such as France, Jordan and Lebanon, and talked about these residences and what adds to the artist, it helps him to change the artistic environment that he used to enter into a new environment and a different framework, and learn about Artists from around the world, share their artistic experiences with them. These experiences helped him explore himself and produce new works with different ideas.
