On March 4, 2017, Basement trained 12 participants in the areas of the skills of debate and the art of speech. The training was given by the trainer “Abdeljalil Al-Nimri”, one of the trainers accredited by the Tunisian Debate Foundation. The course included the basics of the debate, skills of extracting arguments, skills of speech, conditions of the debate and writing the argument.

On February 28, 2017, Basement held a training workshop for 6 participants in media and influence. The training was given by the trainer, journalist and playwright Bassam Ghobari. The workshop included three main axes such as educating participants about the importance of modern media and its impact on society, defining the role of the media in raising awareness and how to deal with media patterns to make an impact, the trainer also addressed the differences between communication and connection, kinds and types of communication, theories of influence in communication and media, stories and experiences
