Basement mission is not exclusive for the arts-community only but it rather encourages the communication with the culture-community which obviously seems to be complicated as there is a great gap between public youth groups and authors and writers due to the lack of contact among those groups. Basement aims at bringing all those various youth groups and culture community together to bridge the gap and improve the quality of arts-performance and promote the peaceful coexistence. To achieve this goal, Basement has shared several success stories and arts-experience of great and famous artists as well as some other beginner-artists to promote the ideas-exchange and the discussions. It has also shared the culture of some of the minorities in Yemen in order to raise awareness of those isolated communities and their culture among the Yemeni public and thus minimize the Xenophobia.

Basement aims through its strategy to create a free platform for youths by its different activities. This project considers as one of the most important activity which represents our goal. Space includes three main phases (writing articles, produce short movies, implement debate’s event). Till now we have implemented tow activities under this project that discussed tow interested topics; Internet and tolerant, Art and priority. In these two topic the participants had two different attitudes; with and against. This activity interacts youths to use unique and attractive ways to express their view.
