As part of the activities of the Basemant cultural library held on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 monthly discussion session (Gerbal), addressed the Indian writer Arundhati Roy. The session included the presentation of two videos about the writer, the first general information about her and the second a simple interview with her, and then opened the door for discussion about the writer of social fiction literature. In the beginning, Shaima Thabet talked about the writer explaining that she saw her as a writer of many description, which made her lose the enthusiasm of reading,
