There is an obvious separation status between Yemeni citizens and socio-political speeches; repeated speeches and unknown socio-political phrases are the main reasons for this separation, furthermore, these speeches do not affect their lives.

The idea of “art of speeches” is to create new forms of speeches, in which it is crossing-over the usual speeches used by elites, comprehensible, it is explaining the importance of the issue and how close it is to the public.

Basement has chosen the child marriage issue for two reasons; first of all, it is a crucial issue in the civil society and Yemeni social activism, the other, the analysis and support of this issue do not correspond with the storm caused by it.
