The Executive Director of the Basement Cultural Foundation, Shaimaa Jamal, will participate in a seminar organized by the UNESCO Regional Office for the Gulf States and Yemen, an online seminar to discuss the impact of the Corona crisis on culture and art today, Monday, 18 May 2020, from 03:00 – 05:00 pm.

This symposium will address two main aspects related to the impact of the Corona crisis on social organizations and groups operating in the arts and culture sector, and its impact that led to social separation and the transfer of cultural and artistic activities to the Internet.

The event will be held online in both English and Arabic (including simultaneous translation).
